Jaclyn Banner

Throughout the years, Jaclyn developed relationships and began styling fashion shows, music videos, and commercials when she was given an opportunity to shop for a television show. She has always had a keen eye and an innate ability to create looks through fashion and style, so being a buyer in the costume department came very naturally for her and she was able to develop her skill of creating characters through costumes- costume design. She went on to work as an ACD and eventually Costume Designer. Jaclyn says “I’m fortunate to wake up everyday and do what I love! I cannot see myself doing anything else!”

Since then, Jaclyn has designed on a variety of features including Alieu the Dreamer for director Quincy Ledbetter and BET+, director Aric Avelino’s Behind the Movement, chronicling the history of Rosa Parks and the Montgomery Bus Boycott, and Netflix’s action thriller Edge of Fear for director Bobby Roth. In addition, she is known for her designs for television, such as three seasons of AMC’s anthology series Creepshow on Shudder and the third and fourth seasons of Saints & Sinners for Bounce TV.

"I think that sometimes people see the title Creepshow and think it's all horror – blood, gore and guts but in actuality, it really is the tag line – 'the most fun you'll ever have being scared!' Since it's an anthology, I designed a mini-movie every 7-10 days, ranging from contemporary, period, futuristic…every genre of production and I get to work with very notable actors and refreshing up and comers."
